Dark Morph is a collaborative project by the Icelandic musician Jón Þór "Jónsi" Birgisson, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist for the Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós, and and composer, visual artist, and curator, CMVH. Their joint work was jumpstarted by the creating the sound for Dive-In by SUPEFLEX, the first large scale construction resulting from the Deep Sea Minding research, commissioned by Desert X in collaboration with TBA21–Academy.

Cecilia Bengolea is an artist, choreographer, and dancer who deals with empathy systems, ways of merging through the body, and movement experience with nature, particularly, the ocean. She has collaborated with a number of visual artists, including Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Jeremy Deller, and Damion Wallace. Her performance piece Mosquito Net is part of the 2019 Desert X exhibition. DJ set by g33zy

The performances will take place at the installation of Gary Simmons, Recapturing Memories of the Black Ark, a part of Desert X 2019.
